It's Christmastime in the City

It's days/nights like these that remind me how lucky I am!

Though the weather forecast has been predicting a storm to last through Christmas, it was a beautiful and clear night in the bay!

My parents came to visit me to drop off Christmas goodies and my chair that I've had since 7th grade and finally able to accomodate in my living space... as my Uncle Ray would say, "I have arrived!" My mom, the ever adventure seeker, thought it would be a great idea to head to Treasure Island and take some photos of the city, especially the buildings lined in lights for Christmas. My dad and I convinced her the Berkeley pier would be better/easier and include a view of Sutro Tower. But after blustery winds on the pier, even my tripod did little to keep the camera still.

So we headed to Treasure Island, and I'm so glad we did. It was beautiful!

I'm so blessed to be living in the bay, close to the mountains, with valleys all around. And this location is near my family and some of my greatest friends! And it's Christmastime!! I'm one lucky duck!
