Headed over to O.co Coliseum for the Oakland A's vs Seattle Mariners game. How appropriate to be photographing America's pastime on the 4th of July!
Normally there's a ton of Japanese media because of Hideki Matsui. Today there were even more to see the battle between Matsui and Ichiro Suzuki.
I was hoping Matsui would pick up his 500th career home run. But no such luck and A's fell to the Mariners 2-1.
With a 1pm start, I was able to spend the evening at a friend's BBQ and watch the Berkeley fireworks from his roof as we all sang "God Bless the USA" including a New Zealander and a German. Happy Independence Day America =)
