Headed just across the street to Emeryville's West Elm store for the Pinterest Meet Up.
Pinterest is a virtual pinboard for all things you find while cruising the web. Whether it's to plan a home decor project and gather ideas, bookmark your favorite recipes, or just pin pretty things you find along the way, it's a great tool and fun resource.
Apart from my photo gear want/have boards, Mary Blair favorites, velvet paintings, blog repins and silliness boards, I follow the pinterest feed for other pinners finds and repin. My pinterest is exciting to me and I'm still new to the craze =)
KC introduced me to pinterest (her board) and heard about an event they were having in Emeryville. So I came along and enjoyed cookies with shots of milk, some champagne, and my own awkward but entertaining attempts at making new friends.
It also marks the last time I'll see KC as a nor-cal resident :-( She is moving to LA on Saturday to start her MBA program at UCLA Anderson. Sad for me, but excited for her and excited for visits to LA to continue piggybacking off her celebrity status ;-)
