In between sets of Sun Hop Fat, Ghost & The City and BATTLEHOOCH at The Independent was a fun lil (little meaning 3 people not 10) band The Panhandlers
They played New Orleans Jazz on a side stage, were super upbeat, and were far more enjoyable than listening to a bad DJ/iTunes Mix while bands set up on the main stage.
And any band that incorporates a washboard into their set of instruments is ok by me! =)
