After a five-star meal from my friend Nicole, hands down the best chef I know, at her new place in the city, headed over with some friends and sister Cox to Yoshi's to catch roots and blues slide guitarist David Jacobs-Strain.
You might remember David from the mini photo shoot I had with him before opening for Boz Skaggs (blog post here)
But he also travels around the US as a solo act turning sushi jazz clubs into juke joints ;-)
